PostX 0.3. repository is Online with upgrades

PostX Gnu/Linux 0.3. series repository is Online now.

Note. During apt-get update you will get error saying something like:

Cannot fetch https://techtimejourney.net/postx-current/dists/audax/main/i18n/Translation-en; remote end closed connection.

E: Some index files failed to download. They have been ignored, or old ones used instead. The error is because there is no translation files on my repository and thus apt-get complains. The error is non-fatal and repository should work normally – so no worries.

How to apply all changes:

Open terminal and install / remove packages with the following commands:

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get dist-upgrade && sudo apt-get install legacy && sudo apt-get remove gtk2-engines-oxygen gtk3-engines-oxygen desktopsets && sudo apt-get install desktopsets-dark

Copy new settings from /etc/skel to user’s home directory:

cp -R /etc/skel/.config .

cp -R /etc/skel/.gtkrc-2.0 .

cp -R /etc/skel/.wall .

Exit the desktop and log in again and changes should apply

If for some reason you have malformed your sources.list then here is the default sources for PostX 0.3. (/etc/apt/sources.list.d/audax.list)

Desktopsets:

desktopsets-dark (0.3.3.1) Audax; urgency=urgency

       * Moved to Faeza icons (listed as dependency)
       * Removed   gtk2-engines-oxygen gtk3-engines-oxygen as they break functionality (conflicting packages)
       * Default Gtk theme is now Dust (this package contains it)
       * Package renamed to desktopsets-dark
       * This is the new recommended package
       * Comes with a new default wallpaper: Breakpoint
       * A darker Tint2 panel configuration
       * New Xfce4 notify theme: Burn (made by JJ Posti)
